We look forward to receiving your application for the following position.Accounts Payable OfficerThe Opportunity:Barminco Ltd is currently seeking a suitably experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Head Office based in Hazelmere.Working with Barminco will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following tasks:Receiving and managing a large volume of supplier invoicesEnsuring that invoices are posted accurately and promptlyDealing with supplier queriesSending receipt requests for goods and services receivedMaintaining details of suppliersReconciling supplier statementsOther ad-hoc duties as and when required in supporting the Finance TeamSkills, Experience & Attributes:Three plus years’ experience in a similar accounts payable roleExperience using SAP is essentialA high level of technical knowledgeExperience working in a medium to large sized organisationAn excellent attention to detailStrong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlinesBe a team player who is exceptionally organised, and possesses a strong work ethicHave sound computer skills, and be at an intermediate level with the Microsoft Office SuiteYour proactive attitude to safety and self-driven work ethic, will see you be a highly valued employee, who aligns with Barminco's core values and ‘can do' attitude. Accounts Payable Officer

The Opportunity:

Barminco Ltd is currently seeking a suitably experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Head Office based in Hazelmere.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Receiving and managing a large volume of supplier invoices
  • Ensuring that invoices are posted accurately and promptly
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Sending receipt requests for goods and services received
  • Maintaining details of suppliers
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required in supporting the Finance Team

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Three plus years’ experience in a similar accounts payable role
  • Experience using SAP is essential
  • A high level of technical knowledge
  • Experience working in a medium to large sized organisation
  • An excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Be a team player who is exceptionally organised, and possesses a strong work ethic
  • Have sound computer skills, and be at an intermediate level with the Microsoft Office Suite
