This is a permanent opportunity and offers a FIFO roster of 6 weeks on 3 weeks off.Expat experience is desired as part of your daily duties will include training the National Workforce. Cultural sensitivity will be expected from all successful applicants along with a proactive “can-do” attitude towards all delegated tasks.Duties and Responsibilities Bog development headings and stockpiles to trucks;Keep trucks operating at full efficiency ensuring all ore, low grade, marginal and waste are kept separate;Bog out and clean faces. This may also include inspecting for miss-fires including notification to Shift Supervisor, hosing down and scaling;Remote Bog from open stopes using Tele-Remotes;Tram material from stockpiles and other bogging duties as required;Keep all roads in working area tidy and free from pooling water and other potential hazards;Manual and tele-remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles.The ability to train Nationals to a high standard of bogging proficiency and road maintenanceSkills, Experience & AttributesExperience with Sandvik and/or Cat Boggers;Experience with Tele-Remote Boggers;Current Australian Driver’s Licence;WA Shot Firer’s Licence;WA Dangerous Goods Card;An acceptable National Police Clearance;Ability to pass a PEM & DAS;Minimum 5 years exposure to the Underground Mining Industry;Previous experience in an Underground Development and Production;A proactive attitude toward safety and hazard identification.You will work in line with the values, standards and procedures put in place by Barminco. The Opportunity:

Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • Experience with Sandvik and/or Cat Boggers;
  • Experience with Tele-Remote Boggers;
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence;
  • WA Shot Firer’s Licence;
  • WA Dangerous Goods Card;
  • An acceptable National Police Clearance;
  • Ability to pass a PEM & DAS;
  • Minimum 5 years exposure to the Underground Mining Industry;
  • Previous experience in an Underground Development and Production;
