We look forward to receiving your application for the following position.Barminco Ltd is currently seeking suitably experienced U/G Bogger & Charge Up Operators for our various sites in regional Western Australia.These opportunities are permanent positions, FIFO out of Perth, with the following rosters available - 7/7, 14/14 & 2/1BOGGERDuties and Responsibilities:Bog development headings and stockpiles to trucks;Keep trucks operating at full efficiency ensuring all ore, low grade, marginal and waste are kept separate;Bog out and clean faces. This may also include inspecting for miss-fires including notification to Shift Supervisor, hosing down and scaling;Remote Bog from open stopes using Tele-Remotes;Tram material from stockpiles and other bogging duties as required;Keep all roads in working area tidy and free from pooling water and other potential hazards;Manual and tele-remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles.Minimum Requirements:Experience with Sandvik and/or Cat Boggers;Experience with Tele-Remote Boggers;Current & Valid Australian Driver Licence;Rights to Work in Australia;Ability to pass a PEM & DAS;Suitable National Police Clearance;Solid history in an Underground mining operation;Reliability and good work ethic;Strong safety and hazard identification.CHARGEUPDuties and Responsibilities:Use of a variety of explosives and initiating systems, depending on drill pattern, rock type and hole dimension;Handle and transport explosive material in a safe manner according to procedures;Charge up holes, down-holes and drives;Charge Up and fire stope blasts according to blast plan;Ensure working area is safe for personnel and equipment to perform duties;Liaise with Geologists, Engineers and Shift Supervisors to optimize blast designs;Perform loading and dumping cycles from development and production areas;Keep all roads in working areas tidy and free from hazardsSkills, Experience & Attributes:Valid Australian Manual Driver’s Licence;WA Shotfirer’s Licence;WA Dangerous Goods Card;Working at Heights Certificate;An acceptable National Police Clearance/ASIO Check;Flexible and willingness to assist with varied tasks and responsibilities;Previously employed in an underground Charge-Up role;Solid history of reliability and good work ethic;Able to pass a pre-employment medical including a clear drug & alcohol screen;A strong focus toward safety and hazard identification.Your proactive attitude to safety and highly driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee, who aligns with Barminco's values and ‘can do' attitude. Duties and Responsibilities:
