The roster on offer is 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off.Duties and Responsibilities:Performs pre-start checks and SWICs.Ensuring inspections and maintenance is carried out on all equipment before use.Ensures that all tools are serviceable and safe.Must Work to minimise equipment downtime and maximise productivity.Must carry out standard work place inspection practices and procedures and prepare the areas for drilling, charging or scraping in accordance with mine safety procedures.To install cables in areas where requiredTo ensure cables are fully encapsulated with the proper mix of grout.Keep all equipment clean and in a serviceable condition.Essential Requirements:A demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude toward ensuring that safety is front of mind for all employees at all times.Experience in training a national workforceA minimum of five years’ experience in the Underground Mining Industry.A minimum of 12 months experience solely as an Cablebolt Operator.Knowledge of Underground Mining Practices and the efficient operation of an Underground Longhole Machine.Highly organised and able to work efficiently with limited supervision.Your proactive attitude to safety and driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee in line with AUMS’s values and ‘can do’ attitude, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package completing our vision of a work life balance in a strong team environment.A full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol, and site specific clearances. A National Police Clearance and any necessary tickets or qualifications are required to be presented at time of interview.
