Our vision is to be the world's leading hard rock underground mining services provider.Our capability is critical to our success - we are looking for people who are talented, share our core values and are as committed to creating value for our clients as we are.The Opportunity:Barminco Ltd has a great opportunity for a suitably experienced person to join our Procurement team as a Cataloguer/Inventory Officer at our Head Office in Hazelmere.Reporting to the Group Manager Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the control, data entry, accuracy and maintenance of supply master data in SAP. This role will be pivotal to ensure that catalogued materials have the correct sourcing and stocking strategy.This challenging and rewarding role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Catalogue and maintain all inventory records in SAP;Report on all material and purchasing records, including MRP settings, vendor pricing, contracted vendors, product categorisations, critical items, slow moving and obsolescence identification;Analyse historical usage and forecasted projections of inventory to accurately setup MRP levels for each of our local and international projects;Assist in the development of procedures relating to the master data controls for inventory and purchasing;Support the purchasing department in extracting data for use in supplier analysis and tendering activities;Identify, evaluate and develop process improvements to master data managementSkills, Experience & Attributes:Strong administration and data entry skillsBe well versed in the Microsoft Office Word, Excel, OutlookStrong observation and analytical skills with an excellent attention to detailWell-developed time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlinesIdeally you have experience setting up and maintaining inventory and purchasing records within an ERP systemUnderstanding of MRP and ability to analyse data to establish preferred inventory levelsKnowledge of materials cataloguing standardsExperience using SAP MM module is desirablePrevious mining experience preferredYour proactive attitude to safety, diligent approach and strong work ethic, will see you become a highly valued member of the Barminco Procurement Team; where you will work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Should you possess the required skills, drive and experience documented above, we welcome your interest and encourage your application. The Opportunity:

Barminco Ltd has a great opportunity for a suitably experienced person to join our Procurement team as a Cataloguer/Inventory Officer at our Head Office in Hazelmere.

Reporting to the Group Manager Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the control, data entry, accuracy and maintenance of supply master data in SAP. This role will be pivotal to ensure that catalogued materials have the correct sourcing and stocking strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Catalogue and maintain all inventory records in SAP;
  • Report on all material and purchasing records, including MRP settings, vendor pricing, contracted vendors, product categorisations, critical items, slow moving and obsolescence identification;

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Strong administration and data entry skills
  • Be well versed in the Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong observation and analytical skills with an excellent attention to detail
  • Well-developed time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
  • Ideally you have experience setting up and maintaining inventory and purchasing records within an ERP system
  • Understanding of MRP and ability to analyse data to establish preferred inventory levels
  • Knowledge of materials cataloguing standards
  • Experience using SAP MM module is desirable
  • Previous mining experience preferred
