As part of our ongoing  contract at the Flying Fox mine in the South West of  Western Australia, Barminco is looking for expressions of interest from experienced Drill Fitters with Underground experience who are looking to join an established team.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to work as a part of an experienced Team in managing the scheduled, preventative and breakdown maintenance of the drills on site.Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems,Breakdown repairs and servicing of equipment,Ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazards;Perform maintenance according company standards and work instructions;Maintain critical maintenance data on a daily basis;Be proactive in all preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality repairs are maintained.Minimum Requirements:Extensive experience working on underground machinery including makes such as Sandvik and Atlas Copco including auxillary equipment;Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate;Ability to FIFO from PerthC Class Drivers Licence.Ability to work autonomously/independently with limited supervision;Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environment;Previous experience working underground within the mining industry;Commitment to safety.A full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol screen and site specific clearances. A National Police Clearance and any necessary tickets or qualifications are required as part of the application process Australia - WA Kalgoorlie, Goldfields & Esperance

Drill Fitter

  • Permanent Full Time Position
  • FIFO ex-Perth on an 8:6 / 7:7 roster
  • Immediate Start
