Barminco is looking for experienced Drill Fitters with Underground experience who are wanting to join an established Team at our Operations in Western Australia. We offer a Family friendly 8:6 roster, on day shift only on various sites in the Goldfields and South West WA.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to work as a part of an experienced Team in managing the scheduled, preventative and breakdown maintenance of the drills on site.Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems,Breakdown repairs and servicing of equipment,Ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazards;Perform maintenance according company standards and work instructions;Maintain critical maintenance data on a daily basis;Be proactive in all preventative maintenance procedures to ensure quality repairs are maintained.Minimum Requirements:Extensive experience working on underground machinery including makes such as Sandvik and Atlas Copco including auxillary equipment;Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;Ability to FIFO from PerthC Class Drivers Licence.Ability to work autonomously/independently with limited supervision;Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environment;Previous experience working underground within the mining industry;Commitment to safety.A full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol screen and site specific clearances. FIFO Drill Fitter

  • FIFO ex-Perth on an 8:6 day shift only roster
