We believe in investing in the development of our people and back them with state of the art equipment and world’s best practice.Due to an expansion within the group across our African Operations, AUMS are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for suitably experienced Environmental, Health, Safety and Training Coordinators.Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and day to day maintenance of Environmental, Health, Safety & Training functions.  You will provide advice and technical support to both contractors and staff, including expats and our workforce of National employees.Your ability to engage, involve and provide supportive is paramount. Living and working in different countries and adapting to other cultures can be challenging yet rewarding.Minimum Requirements:Tertiary qualifications in OHS;Certificate IV Assessment & Training and the ability to deliver training through multiple media. Trainers will be required to deliver both theory and practical training;Ability to conduct quality risk assessments, investigations and report writingExtensive background in the Underground Mining industry, with a working knowledge of multiple disciplines and experience in Mines Rescue is preferable;Ability to engage, communicate and influence Managers and Employees including Non English speaking nationals;Exceptional organisational and communication skills.In line with AUMS's values and ‘can do' attitude, your proactive attitude to safety  and your driven work ethic will see you as a much valued employee.    You will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package, and work a roster of 7 weeks on, 4 weeks off completing our vision of work life balance within a strong team environment.A full pre-employment medical will be required, including a drug and alcohol screen, relevant vaccinations and site specific clearances.
