The roster on offer is 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off.Reporting to Project Manager you will have responsibility for the overall management of the electrical functions for the site and will be required to work closely with the Maintenance Department. In order to be successful in this position, you must be trade qualified and have extensive experience in a similar role in the Underground Mining Industry. You will preferably have experience working as an expatriate.In this role your responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to the following:Carry out the supervision of National electricians in the day to day installation & maintenance of the underground / surface reticulation & electrical machine maintenanceCompile & maintain work schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager & Mine Foreman for the underground electrical requirementsPlanning & organizing future electrical requirements for cost effective & efficient management ensuring that electrical stock levels are maintained – in conjunction with Store Supervisor & Project ManagerPlanning, installation and maintenance of the AutoMine systems on level in conjunction with the AutoMine Technicians and maintenance departmentCoordinate monthly inspections & mandatory testing of all underground & surface electrical installations - with results made available for auditingCarry out training of national electricians – with the emphasis on Australian electrical regulations & standards – ensure that safety is the main priority for electrical personalComplete & maintain single line drawings of the underground electrical reticulation – updated monthly or as requiredWhat we will be looking for in our ideal candidate:A minimum of current A grade electrical licenseHV switching, certification and jointingAt least 5 years’ experience of underground electrical supervisionExperience with Pronto or SAPDemonstrated ability to design and drive long term change processesExcellent coaching, mentoring and influencing skills, proven self starter with highly developed management and leadership qualities, strong analytical and problem solving skillsCultural sensitivity will be expected from the successful applicant along with a proactive “can-do” attitude towards all delegated tasks.Your proactive attitude to safety and driven work ethic will see you as a much valued employee in line with AUMS’s values and ‘can do’ attitude, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive, targeted, remuneration package completing our vision of a work life balance in a strong team environment.Prior to hire you will be required to sit a full pre-employment medical, including vaccinations required for the area you will be working, a drug and alcohol screen and site specific clearances.  Australia - WA Perth

What we will be looking for in our ideal candidate:
