Our vision is to be the world's leading hard rock underground mining services provider.Our capability is critical to our success - we are looking for people who are talented, share our core values and are as committed to creating value for our clients as we are.The Opportunity:Barminco Ltd is currently seeking suitably Experienced Underground Truck Drivers for our various mine sites in regional Western Australia.Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the provision of a quality and timely truck driving (haulage) service using articulated underground mobile machinery and ensure operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner. Positions offered are FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster.Duties and Responsibilities:You will be responsible for, but not limited to, loading, hauling and dumping ore/waste material from development and production sources in the underground mine to assigned stockpiles or areas on the surface;Follow instructions from loader operators to accept dirt and fully load and balanced trucks;Dump waste materials in underground areas for the purpose of back filling and structural;Monitor the work areas being worked in and water down or scale as necessary;Be proactive in any and all EHS initiatives, reporting all incidents and potential safety hazards.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience in UG operations operating underground trucks;Evidence of safe underground mining practices;HR Class vehicle licence is preferred;Senior First Aid Certificate is preferred;Ability to complete repetitive tasks at a consistent level;Have sound understanding of machinery and knowledge of engines, drive systems and care of mobile mechanical equipment.Your proactive attitude to safety and driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee in line with Barminco's values and ‘can do' attitude, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package completing our vision of a work life balance in a strong team environment.If you are successful, as part of the onboarding process, you will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical, and drug and alcohol screening.
