We look forward to receiving your application for the following position.The Opportunity:Barminco Ltd is currently sourcing an extensively experienced Group Manager Assets to join our Maintenance Department, based in our Hazelmere Head Office.Reporting to the GM of Plant, the Group Manager Assets will lead the overall strategic fleet management including operational and capital budgeting for Barminco to ensure the lowest cost of equipment consistent with the required availability and utilisation.This pivotal role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to continue your career development and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain equipment specifications that focus on safety, reliability, cost improvement and adhere to Barminco’s policies, procedures and engineering standardsDevelop life cycle models for all equipment and monitor existing equipment’s performance against the model.Develop new equipment change management and planned maintenance programs for all equipment and report compliance to plan.Maintain the Maintenance Master Data in SAP.Construct site maintenance budgets based on each site’s fleet and the life cycle models for that equipment.Report actual maintenance costs against budget, analyse variance and recommend response actions.Maintain a global fleet plan including current deployments, project maintenance, new equipment, replacement and growth plans.Construct capital budgets and manage the capital expenditure.Skills, Experience & Attributes:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance Management with significant practical experience in mobile equipment maintenance.High level of integrity.Strong and demonstrable commitment to safety, quality and the continuous improvement in heavy duty maintenance operations and planning.Significant prior exposure to asset lifecycle management.Well established experience in constructing operating and capital budgets.Significant experience in mining or industrial environment.Good working knowledge of relevant maintenance and related mining Statutory / Regulatory Standards and Codes.Dependably exercise sound judgement and decisions.Strong sense of urgency and outcomes focused.Excellent English communications skills and ability to manage diverse and in some instances multi-cultural teams.Demonstrated time management, planning and cost management skills are essential.The ability to influence and engage with maintenance and non- maintenance personnel, with good demonstrated communication and interpersonal and influencing skills, including demonstrated ability to consult.Strong observation and analytical skills along with attention to detail.Experienced with computers & information management system and reporting tool (e.g. SAP).Your proactive attitude to safety and self-driven work ethic, will see you be a highly valued employee, who aligns with Barminco's core values and ‘can do' attitude.
