Barminco Ltd is currently seeking suitably experienced Shotcrete Operators for various mine sites in regional Western Australia.Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be required to ensure that all aspects of shotcrete spraying are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with Barminco and site requirements and procedures.Position offered is for experienced candidates, FIFO from Perth W.A. on a 14/7 roster.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate and maintain equipment according to all Barminco Plant Operation & Maintenance procedures and fault reporting systems.Apply shotcrete at specified thickness, quantity, and application according to procedures and design;Ensure adequate ventilation and supply of mine-air prior to spraying;Spray boom, concrete pump and hopper with form oil;Fuel up concrete truck and fill chemical tanks as required;Ensure all Barminco safety standards, policies & procedures are adhered to at all times;Display professional conduct at all times whilst working for or representing the company.Minimum Requirements:‘HR’ Class Drivers Licence;Previous experience as a Shotcrete Sprayer;Knowledge of concrete additives and aggregates;Knowledge of shotcrete rig’s performance capabilities;Experience working on Jacon & Normet Equipment;Rights to Work in Australia;Ability to work autonomously/independently with limited supervision;Demonstrated abilities to work within a team environment;Previous experience working within the mining industry;Commitment to safety.Your proactive attitude to safety and driven work ethic will see you as a much valued employee in line with Barminco's values and ‘can do' attitude, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package completing our vision of a work life balance in a strong team environment.A full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol screen and site specific clearances.
