We believe in investing in the development of our people and back them with state of the art equipment and world’s best practice.We are actively seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Supply Co-Ordinator to join us in our West African Operations on a permanent roster of 8 weeks on site and 4 weeks home.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Overseeing all purchasing and logistics functions on siteRequired to control the receiving, storage and usage of materials on siteHandling of inbound and outbound sea, road and air freight consignmentsMaintaining documentation, stock registersProviding reports as requiredHigh standard of housekeeping is upheld in the store and laydown area.We are looking for an active person who has experience in a similar role within the underground mining industry and ideally experienced working abroad (preferably Africa) with nationals whose first language is not English.You must also have a valid driving license, forklift ticket, be proficient with MS Office programs and be a confident user of ERP software (Pronto, Eclipse, SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards). A proactive attitude toward safety is imperative.Your proactive attitude to safety, focused energy and driven work ethic will see you as a much valued employee in line with AUMS’s values and ‘can do’ attitude.
