Underground Shift Supervisor

AUMS is seeking experienced Underground Shift Supervisors for up-coming work in West Africa with the current role on offer being an 8 week on site 4 week home roster. 

As a minimum you will have a WA Shift Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency or equivalent. You will also be capable of leading and training national supervisors to a high level of proficiency;

Duties involved in the role:

  • WA Shift Supervisor certification or equivalent
  • Good understanding of Mining Regulations
  • Ability to organise large crews and keep on task
  • Mine according to plan
  • Mentor and train national supervisors
  • Ensure correct reporting and recording
  • Follow up on instructions given to ensure tasks are completed as reported
  • Ability and willingness to string and charge drop raises as required
  • Training of National Supervisors and workforce to a high standard
