We look forward to receiving your application for the following position.The Opportunity:We are currently seeking an experienced and career driven Warehouse Officer to join our site based operations at Nova Mine Site, working a 2 week on, 1 week off fly in / fly out roster out of Perth.This challenging and rewarding role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.The purpose of the Warehouse Officer is to accurately remove, record and transport requisitioned goods throughout the mine site store, while following the set procedures and safety guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Manually and mechanically assist with daily loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freightReconcile load / delivery paperwork with received or despatched goodsAccurately document Dangerous Goods to ensure compliance with the current DG legislationLoading and unloading of Explosives via MagazineAssist with daily Stores duties, including goods receiving, stocktaking and stock control processingEnsure received goods correspond with supplier descriptions through manual and visual quality controlEnter data into SAPLiaise with Supervisor on any product or quantity discrepancies and under take corrective actionLoad transport storage containers with received goods for safe transportationMaintain good housekeeping skills and uphold safe work practicesSkills, Experience & Attributes:Have extensive experience within a similar role, preferably in a site based environmentHold a valid manual drivers’ license and current Forklift TicketKnowledge of Underground or Surface Mining preferred but not essentialBe computer savvy with the ability to use the Microsoft Suite of productsExperience with SAP or similar ERP system essentialHave a Dangerous Goods Security Clearance DGSCA positive attitude toward work and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environmentBe self-motivated, with an excellent work ethicYour proactive attitude to safety and highly driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee, who aligns with Barminco's values and ‘can do' attitude. The purpose of the Warehouse Officer is to accurately remove, record and transport requisitioned goods throughout the mine site store, while following the set procedures and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually and mechanically assist with daily loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight
  • Reconcile load / delivery paperwork with received or despatched goods
  • Accurately document Dangerous Goods to ensure compliance with the current DG legislation
  • Loading and unloading of Explosives via Magazine
  • Assist with daily Stores duties, including goods receiving, stocktaking and stock control processing
  • Ensure received goods correspond with supplier descriptions through manual and visual quality control
  • Enter data into SAP
  • Liaise with Supervisor on any product or quantity discrepancies and under take corrective action
  • Load transport storage containers with received goods for safe transportation
  • Maintain good housekeeping skills and uphold safe work practices

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Have extensive experience within a similar role, preferably in a site based environment
  • Hold a valid manual drivers’ license and current Forklift Ticket
  • Knowledge of Underground or Surface Mining preferred but not essential
  • Be computer savvy with the ability to use the Microsoft Suite of products
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system essential
  • Have a Dangerous Goods Security Clearance DGSC
  • A positive attitude toward work and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Be self-motivated, with an excellent work ethic
