  • Ensuring inspections are carried out on all equipment before use
  • Ensuring that all tools and equipment are serviceable and safe
  • Carrying out standard work place inspection practices and procedures
  • Conducting tool box meetings
  • Training and mentoring team members

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Workshop Leading Hand is essential
  • Extensive experience working on underground earthmoving machinery, in particular Sandvik
  • Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate OR Auto Electrical Trade Certificate
  • ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
