We look forward to receiving your application for the following position.The Opportunity:Barminco Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and motivated HSE&T Coordinator to join us at our operations in Northwest WA, working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.Reporting to the Senior HSE&T Coordinator you will be responsible for environmental, health and safety, training delivery and management and HS&E incident support. In addition, the role will be heavily involved in partnering with site operations management to ensure Barminco’s safety values and culture are effectively promoted and adopted across the operations.This challenging and rewarding role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Guiding employees on best work practice by ensuring safe work processes are in place, understood by all and being used accordingly.Coordinate the development and implementation of best practice, legally compliant HSE&T management systems and processes.Working with all supervisors and employees to drive HSE&T awareness, capability and a strong safety culture.Ensuring safe work processes are in place, understood by all and being used accordingly.Administering and applying HSE&T policies, procedures, and matrices including the development of site specific HSE&T management plans.Provide on-site Inductions ensuring all employees and contractors are site compliant.Monitor the health and well-being of onsite personnel.Participate in (and lead where appropriate at the local level) any HSE&T improvement to ensure both operational and legislative requirements are met.Provide technical support as required to accident investigations to ensure a thorough and documented approach is used.Provide accurate and timely local reports on all HSE&T matters to relevant parties.Attend and provide input to the regular operations tool box meetings.Provide HSE&T reporting and monitor local trends for communicating with relevant parties and following up accordingly.In conjunction with relevant parties implement the solutions to issues of recurring HSE&T problems.Conduct training and Verification of Competencies (VOC).Support auditing of onsite machinery and equipment.Provide HSE&T mentoring to operational personnel.Administer and assist with the local return to work/rehabilitation process HSE&T reporting.Support the development and presentation of HSE&T training programs including relevant inductions.Provision of process and direction to assist the conduct of investigations of HSE incidents for timely action and resolution of issues.Skills, Experience & Attributes:Valid Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’.Diploma in WH&SCertificate IV qualifications in Training and AssessmentHigh level of integrity4 to 6 years’ relevant experienceStrong interpersonal, management and communication skillsDependably exercise sound judgement and decisionsStrong sense of urgency and outcomes focusedKnowledge and application of HSE legislation and compliance requirements to Barminco and the client’s safety systemsExperience of providing supportive specialist advice and management to internal and external clientsProven experience in a similar role preferably within an underground mining environmentExcellent English communications skills and ability to manage diverse and in some instances multi-cultural teamsWell-developed time management, planning and cost management skills are essentialThe ability to influence and engage with operational and non-operational employees and contractors with good demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, influencing skills and including consultationStrong observation and analytical skills along with attention to detailExperienced with a large ERP software/HSE&T information systems and reporting tool (e.g. SAP and Pronto)Information security – appreciate the importance of securing commercial and confidential informationSafety - observe safety procedures and use equipment and materials properlyYour proactive attitude to safety and highly driven work ethic will see you as a much-valued employee, who aligns with Barminco's values and ‘can do' attitude. Skills, Experience & Attributes:
