This role is responsible for assisting Site Project Managers and Mine Foreman with the technical mining issues on site and / or department, interpret and analyse mining physicals and site costs, and to integrate with the client technical services department. We are looking for an individual with boundless energy, a willingness to learn and a can do attitude towards the role that is responsible for the following:Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract / client schedules.Ensure an intimate understanding of the site contract, variations and management plans and ensure that AUMS is compliant with these requirements.Ensure client requirements are met contractually and maintain a favourable relationship with the client.Use analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.Production monitoring.Monthly performance reporting.Management of Quality Assurance Programmes.Budget preparation.Assists with the preparation of monthly claims and interface with the Client. Key requirements for the successful candidate includes the following:The ability to influence and engage with operational personnel, with good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong observation and analytical skills that translate to improvements across the maintenance function.Highly experienced with information management system and reporting tools (e.g. Pronto) including valuing the importance of information security. Your proactive attitude to safety and driven work ethic will see you as a much valued employee in line with AUMS’s values and ‘can do’ attitude, and will be rewarded with a highly competitive remuneration package completing our vision of a work life balance in a strong team environment.A full pre-employment medical is required, including a drug and alcohol, and site specific clearances. A National Police Clearance and any necessary tickets or qualifications are required to be presented at time of interview.
